Privacy Policy
Last updated: Nov 2, 2026
This policy explains how Data Openly (https://www.dataopenly.com) handles the personal data of visitors. The site is run from Brazil and follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD), which is closely aligned with the European GDPR.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Gustavo Mansur, who runs the site and can be reached at contato@dataopenly.com.
2. What data we collect
The site has no accounts, logins or forms that store data. Even so, some data is processed automatically:
- Technical access data, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time, logged by the hosting provider for security and operation of the site.
- Cookies and identifiers used to remember your cookie choice and, if you allow it, to show personalized ads.
- Data you send by email when you contact us, used only to reply.
3. Cookies
We use two categories of cookies:
- Essential: store your consent choice in your browser. They do not require permission, since without them the site could not remember your choice.
- Advertising: used by Google AdSense and its partners to serve ads and measure their performance. They are only used for personalization if you click "Accept all".
If you choose "Essential only", ads may still appear, but they will not be personalized, meaning your browsing history is not used to choose them. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
4. Google AdSense
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. The advertising cookie allows Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn more at How Google uses cookies in advertising.
5. Legal bases
- Legitimate interest, for technical security logs and essential cookies.
- Consent, for personalized advertising cookies.
6. Sharing
Technical data may be processed by the hosting provider and by Google (AdSense), which may store it on servers outside Brazil, with the safeguards required by law. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
7. How long we keep data
Your cookie preference stays in your browser until you delete it. Contact emails are kept as long as needed to handle the matter. Technical logs follow the hosting provider's retention policy.
8. Your rights
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent. Just write to contato@dataopenly.com. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or with the data protection authority in your country.
9. Data shown in the dashboards
The dashboards use only public, open datasets published by official bodies. When a dataset contains information about people, such as election candidates, it is shown on the same terms in which the source itself makes it public.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows the current version. The Portuguese version is the reference text.
